Update:
ESPN’s Adam Schefterย reports that the Bears also claimed TE Gannon Sinclair off of waivers from the Cardinals.
Sinclair, 22, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out ofย Missouri State back in May. However, he was among the team’s initial roster cuts on Monday.

Adam Jahns of the Chicago Tribuneย reports that the Bears have claimed QBย Zac Dysert off of waivers from the Broncos on Tuesday.
- Jahns adds that Dysert is expected to play in the team’s preseason game on Thursday.
This is an interesting move from the Bears, seeing asย offensive coordinator Adam Gase has obvious ties toย Dysert from their time together in Denver.
Also, Bears backup QBย Jimmy Clausen is currently in the league’sย concussionย protocol.
Dysert, 25, is a former seventh round pick of the Broncos back in 2013.ย He was placed on waivers by the Broncos at the start of the 2014 season, but they later added him to their practice squad, so there’s a chance he could return to the team’s taxi squad in 2015.
Dysert has yet to appear in a regular season NFL game.

I wish Zac Dysert the best with Chicago. He is better off out of Denver. He will make the 53 man roster there.
it appears the bears are becoming the broncos redue
No, they’ll probably let Fales go.
Carden will go, and Fales will be practice squad. Dysert will be the emergency QB on game days.
You are absolutely correct. Zac will be backup to Jay Cutler.
So, they let go of a CB and picked up another QB they’re going to cut in a week from now. Yeesh. Can’t we just start the damn season already.
They won’t cut him, and they’ve got about 14-16 defensive backs in camp, and the depth they’re looking for might actually come from other teams last cuts, just like some our players might end up on other teams just the same.
If Zac Desert is on the 53 man roster in a week this team is in deep trouble. CUT.
They won’t keep 4 QB’s. Carden was already cut and Cutler and Claussen aren’t leaving. This means that the new regime isn’t in love with Fales. Keep in mind that Dysert was in Fox’s/Gase’s playbook for the past 2 seasons and probably knows it better than ALL of our QB’s. I think they’ll be looking to trade Fales.
