Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune confirms the report that the Bears will bringing in free agent DB/KR Omar Bolden for a visit that will take place next week.
- Troy Renck of the Denver Post first reported that Chicago was expected to meet with Bolden.
Biggs mentions that the Bears are exploring options to add to the roster as a kick returner, and Bolden is clearly among the best available options. He could also provide some depth at safety.
Bolden, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2012. He has played out his rookie contract with Denver and is now testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first.
In 2015, Bolden appeared in nine games and recorded five tackles while serving as their kick and punt returner. He accumulated 342 kick return yards and 123 punt return yards with one punt being returned for a touchdown.
