Bears RB Matt Forte told the media that he’ll be suiting up and playing in Sunday’s game for Chicago, per Sean Jensen.
On Wednesday, Bears head coach Lovie Smith said that Forte “looked fine in practice”, which was an encouraging sign for the team.
Forte’s ankle injury allowed Michael Bush to get an increased workload against the Vikings last Sunday, but Bush utlimately wasn’t very efficient (averaging 2.9 yards per carry) even though he did score two touchdowns. Expect the two backs to split carries as the Bears ease Forte back into the rotation.
