The Chicago Bears announced Thursday that they signed third-round pick DT Will Sutton to a four-year contract.
#Bears have agreed to terms with 3rd-round pick Will Sutton (4-year deal). All of the club’s 2014 draft picks are now under contract.

Chicago has now signed their entire 2014 draft class and are the first team to come anywhere close to doing so.
The Bears had to shore up their interior defensive line this offseason and they managed to walk away from last week’s draft with both Sutton and LSU’s Ego Ferguson.
Sutton is coming off of a disappointing 2013 season in which he added some weight, which seemed to neutralize his explosiveness off the ball. Two years ago, he was an exceptional interior pass-rusher, so I’m sure the Bears are hoping he can get back to doing that and possible replacing Henry Melton at some point.
