The Bears announced the signing of WR Greg Herd and that they have placed LB Conor O’Neill on waivers.

Herd signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Washington last year. He lasted just a few weeks until he was placed on waivers.
Herd later caught on with the Seahawks, but was waived/injured a few weeks later.
Over the course of his college career, Herd caught 165 passes for 2,348 yards and 17 touchdowns.
