Bengals Cut 7 Players Including WR Denarius Moore

The Cincinnati Bengals announced the release of seven players on Monday, as they work to trim their roster down to 75 players by Tuesday.

The list of players either released or placed on waivers includes:

• DT Kwame Geathers
• OL Chris Jasperse
• LB Nico Johnson
• WR Desmond Lawrence
• DE Sam Montgomery
• TE John Peters
• WR Denarius Moore

Moore, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Raiders back in 2011. He’s played his four-year, $2,230,052 rookie contract that included just $190,052 guaranteed before signing a one-year contract with the Bengals back in April.

In 2014, Moore appeared in 10 games and caught 12 passes for 115 yards receiving and no touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 237 total snaps last year to go along with a poor rating as a receiver.
