- David Chao anticipates a four-six week recovery period for Jackson.
Given that the Bills will be onย bye in Week 9, it’s at least a possibility that Jackson could return in time for their Week 10 match up against the Chiefs.
Buffalo reportedly lost C.J. Spiller for the season, so this is good news for their running back depth. For the time being,ย Anthony Dixon andย Bryce Brown are expected to handle the workload.
Jackson, 33, signed a two-year, $5.24 million contract extension with the Bills back in late July.
Heading into Week 6’s game, Jackson had ran for 227 yards on 52 carries (4.4 YPC) to go along with 30 receptions for 245 yards receiving and two total touchdowns.
