The 2019 Supplemental Draft concluded on Wednesday with Sam Beal being selected by the Giants in round two and Adonis Alexander by the Redskins in round six.
This means that Mississippi State DB Brandon Bryant , Oregon State LB Bright Ugwoegbu andGrand Valley State RB Martayveus Carter all went undrafted and are now free to sign teams of their choosing.
Bryant recorded 157 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1.5 sacks, five interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, seven pass defenses and a forced fumble over three seasons at Mississippi State and 37 games played.
At his Pro Day, Bryant measured in at 5-11/207. He posted 40-yard dash times of 4.45/4.52, a 4.23 Short Shuttle, 7.26/7.52 3-cones, 34-inch vertical, and a 10-3 broad jump.
Ugwoegbu was suspended indefinitely by new Oregon State HC Jonathan Smith for an undisclosed violation.
At his Pro Day, Ugwoegbu measured in at 6007/205lbs. He posted 40-yard dash times in the 4.97s, Short Shuttle times of 4.7s, 3-cone times of 7.38s, 33-inch vertical, and a 9-6 broad jump.
During his three-year college career at Oregon State, Ugwoegbu recorded 126 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, a forced fumble, three recoveries and four pass defenses over the course of 27 games.
Carter was a late entry to the 2019 Supplemental Draft and didn’t hold a Pro Day. Expectations were that he was going to be an undrafted free agent.
During his two years at Grand Valley State, Carter rushed for 2,797 yards on 391 carries (7.2 YPC) to go along with 19 receptions for 125 yards receiving and 28 total touchdowns over the course of two seasons and 27 games played.
