Cardinals Expected To Sign QB Mike Glennon

Tiffany Blackmon reports that the Cardinals are expected to sign QB Mike Glennon once he’s officially released on Wednesday.

A source tells Blackmon that “Glennon is done” to the Cardinals.

Blackmon reported earlier that the Cardinals A.J. McCarron and Glennon were both free agent possibilities for Arizona, even after the Cardinals signed Sam Bradford and it appears as though they preferred to go with Glennon.

Glennon, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3.104 million rookie contract before signing a three-year, $45 million contract with the Bears that includes 18.5 million guaranteed.

The Bears announced that they will be releasing him at the start of free agency.

In 2017, Glennon appeared in four games and threw for 833 yards while completing 66.4 percent of his passes to go along with four touchdowns and five interceptions.
