Chicago Bears ILB Brian Urlacher flew to Europe in either May or June to have the now famous “Kobe surgery” performed on his knee, via the Chicago Tribune.
The procedure has become increasingly popular with athletes, so it’s really not surprising to hear that Urlacher would have sought a treatment that could have a huge impact on his recovery.
Neither the Bears nor Urlacher have yet to confirm that he underwent the treatment, but Urlacher is still expected to be ready for Week 1’s game against the Indianapolis Colts.
