Broncos Place RB Kapri Bibbs On Injured Reserve

The Denver Broncos announced that they’ve placed RB Kapri Bibbs on injured reserve Monday to make room for RB Justin Forsett, who was claimed off of waivers.

According to Mike Klis, Bibbs was diagnosed with a left ankle that would have cost him 2-4 weeks, so they elected to pick up a roster and use it on Forsett.

Bibbs, 23, signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State back in May of last year. Since entering the league, Bibbs has been on and off of the Broncos’ practice squad.

He was on and off of their active roster this season.

In 2016, Bibbs appeared 12 games and ran for 129 yards on 29 carries (4.4 YPC) to go along with two receptions for 75 yards receiving and one touchdown.
