Broncos HC Vance Joseph told reporters on Friday that they will promote LB Jerrol Garcia-Williams to their active roster before Sunday’s game, per Nicki Jhabvala.
- According to Mike Klis, Broncos intend to call up OT Elijah Wilkinson from practice squad tomorrow.
- The Broncos will place LB Corey Nelson on injured reserve with an elbow injury he sustained during Thursday’s practice, per Klis.
Garcia-Williams, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Hawaii back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Broncos cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
Garcia-Williams has yet to appear in an NFL game.
