Broncos Waive Punters Colby Wadman & Trevor Daniel

The Denver Broncos have waived punters Colby Wadman and Trevor Daniel on Thursday, according to Mike Klis

It was clear that both players are unlikely to be the Broncos’ punter in 2020 after Denver signed Sam Martin to a three-year, $7.05 million contract last month.

Wadman, 25, wound up going undrafted out OC Davis back in 2018. He took part in the Raiders and Colts’ minicamps on a tryout basis before eventually signing on with Oakland.

Wadman later signed on to the Broncos’ practice squad before being promoted to the active roster soon after.

In 2019, Wadman appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and totaled 3,464 yards on 78 attempts (44.4 YPA), which includes 29 punts downed inside the 20-yard-line.
