Browns Interviewing Ben McAdoo For Offensive Coaching Job

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that the Browns are interviewing former Giants HC Ben McAdoo for an offensive coaching position on Kevin Stefanski’s staff.

  • According to Cabot, it’s possible that McAdoo is interviewing for the team’s offensive coordinator job.
  • Jake Trotter and Jordan Raanan first reported that McAdoo was at the Browns’ facility on Friday.

This offseason, McAdoo has interviewed for the Jaguars’ offensive coordinator job and the Panthers’ QBs coaching position.

McAdoo, 42, previously served as the Packers’ QBs coach before he was hired as the Giants’ offensive coordinator back in 2014 and eventually took over for HC Tom Coughlin two years later.

The Giants fired McAdoo towards the end of the 2017 regular season. The Cardinals showed interest in him last year for their offensive coordinator job.

During his two years in charge of the team, McAdoo led them to a record of 13-15 (46.4 percent), which includes a playoff appearance last year.
