Cardinals Re-Sign QB Zac Dysert, Extend Offers To Two ERFAs

The Arizona Cardinals announced (per Josh Weinfuss) Tuesday that they’ve re-signed QB Zac Dysert to a one-year deal and extended exclusive rights tenders to DT Olsen Pierre and OL John Wetzel.

Dysert, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He was placed on waivers by the Broncos at the start of the 2014 season, but they later added him to their practice squad.

The Bears claimed Dysert off of waivers a few days before the start of the season, but he was among their final roster cuts. After that, Dysert returned to the Texans, but was on and off of their practice squad before later signing on to the Bills’ practice squad.

The Dolphins signed him to a future/reserve contract before later cutting him loose coming out of the preseason. Dysert was on and off of the Cardinals’ practice squad throughout the season.

Dysert has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game.
