The San Diego Chargers announced that they have signed former Steelers TE David Johnson to a contract.

Johnson, 26, was lost for the season afterย he suffered a wrist injury back in October and was subsequently placed on injured reserve.
He appeared in five games for the Steelers and totaled four receptions forย 70 yards. He offers some versatility given that he has played both tight end and fullback for Pittsburgh.
