The San Diego Chargers announced the signing of QB Chase Rettig on Wedneday. The team also waived QB Cole Stoudt to make room for Rettig.
Rettig, 23, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College back in May of last year. Unfortunately for Rettig, he lasted just a few months with the Packers before he was waived before the start of the season as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
Last year, Rettig appeared in two preseason games for the Packers and completed one of three passes for 10 yards.
