The Kansas City Chiefs announced Friday that veteran OLย Donald Stephenson has been suspended four gamesย for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.
Statement from the team:
“This morning the NFL notified the team of Donald Stephensonโs four-game suspension. Obviously losing Donald is disappointing, but we are in full compliance with the leagueโs policy. We will have no further comment on the situation.”
Statement provided by Stephenson’s agent, Ken Sarnoff.

The Chiefs haveย Stephenson listed as their starting right tackle, so this is obviously bad news for theirย offensive line unit as they prepare for the start of the regular.ย Kansas City is likely to go withย veteran OTย Ryan Harris, whom they signed toย contract in late July, for the time being.
Stephenson has appeared in all 32 games since the Chiefs used a third-round pick on him back in 2012.
