Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Chiefs worked out DLย Connor Wujciak on Sunday.ย According to Rapoport, it sounds like the visit went well.
Wujciak, 24, signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Boston College back in May of last year. He stands to make a base salary of $540,000 for the 2016 season.
The Eagles waived him with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list where he remained for the entire 2016 season. Philadelphia waived him back in February and he later took part in the Lions’ minicamp, but wasn’t signed to a contract.
During his college career, Wujciak recorded 110 tackles, 21 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, three forced fumbles and two pass defenses over the course of four seasons.
