Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that a source with knowledge of the situation has informed him that Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe will join the team before the start of the upcoming season.
Bowe was designated with the Chiefs’ franchise tag back in March, so he’ll most likely take the preseason off and sign his $9.5 million tender in the days leading up to Week 1. Players who end up sitting out of training camp and the preseason tend to struggle in the early portion of the year, so it will be interesting to see whether or not Bowe is able to step and product for the Chiefs.
