Colts Re-Signing CB Pierre Desir To One-Year Deal

Stephen Holder reports that the Colts are re-signing CB Pierre Desir to a one-year contract on Tuesday.

Desir, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Browns back in 2014. He’s in the third year of his four-year, $2.63 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season.

The Browns waived him at the start of the 2016 season and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Chargers. After a brief stint in San Diego, Desir signed with the Seahawks and finished out the year in Seattle.

Desir was waived by the Seahawks at the start of the 2017 season and later claimed by the Colts.

In 2017, Desir appeared in nine games for the Colts and recorded 32 tackles, one interception and seven pass defenses for the Colts.
