Colts Signing DL Denico Autry To Three-Year, $17.8M Deal

Ian Rapoport is now reporting that the Colts are signing Raiders DL Denico Autry to a three-year deal worth $17.8 million.

  • Mike Garafolo reports that the Colts are in talks with Autry and a contract was accidentally posted in the NLFPA system that hasn’t been agreed to.

Autry, 27, originally signed on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi back in 2014. However, he was waived after a week with the team and claimed by the Raiders.

The Raiders decided to waive him later on and signed him to their practice squad after clearing waivers. Oakland promoted him to the active roster back in 2014 and signed him to one-year exclusive rights deals two years in a row.

They re-signed him to another one-year deal last offseason as a restricted free agent under an original round tender that cost them $1.797 million for the 2017 season.

In 2017, Autry appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 36 total tackles, five sacks, and seven pass defenses. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 56 overall interior defender out of 122 qualifying players.

We had him featured in our Top 100 – 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
