According to Albert Breer, the Colts brought in eight free agents for workouts on Tuesday, including DB Roderic Teamer.
The full list of tryouts includes:
- TE Shawn Clark
- C Nico Falah
- DB Malik Gant
- TE Justin Johnson
- TE Ben Koyack
- DB Doug Middleton
- TE Caleb Repp
- DB Roderic Teamer
Teamer, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Tulane back in 2019. He later signed a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Chargers and was able to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
Teamer is suspended for the first four games of the 2020 regular season for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.
The Chargers wound up cutting Teamer along with six other players a few weeks ago. However, HC Anthony Lynn told the defensive back there is a “good chance” Los Angeles re-signs him at some point. (NFLTR)
In 2019, Teamer appeared in seven games for the Chargers and recorded 40 tackles, one sack, an interception and two passes defended.
Koyack, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2015. He was waived a few months later and signed to the Jaguars’ practice squad.
Koyack has been on and off the team’s roster ever since.
For his career, Koyack has appeared in 48 games for the Jaguars and caught 25 passes for 208 yards receiving and one touchdown.
