Clarence Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star Telegram reports that the Dallas Cowboys have signed RB D.J. Adams and that they have placed RB Ben Malena on waivers Saturday morning.
Adams, 24, signed on with Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Portland State back in May, but he ended up being released during their June minicamp in favor of safety Adrian Phillips.
At Portland State, Adams rushed for 2,567 yards and totaled 30 touchdowns.
