According to Todd Archer of ESPN, the Cowboys brought in 13 free agents for workouts on Wednesday including QB Trevor Knight. However, they’re not expected to sign any of them to contracts at this time.

- DT Darius Latham
Knight, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Cardinals cut him loose at the start of the season.
The Falcons signed Knight to their practice squad soon after only to release him from the unit in January.
Knight recently tried out for the Bears but wasn’t signed to a contract.
During his college career at Oklahoma and Texas A&M, Knight threw for 5,856 yards while completing 55.5 percent of his passes to go along with 44 touchdowns and 26 interceptions and a quarterback rating of 124.2 over the course of 35 games. He also rushed for 1,467 yards and 18 touchdowns.
