Daryl Richardson Will Be The Rams Starting RB For Week 1

Jim Thomas reports that Rams HC Jeff Fisher has named Daryl Richardson the team’s starting running back for Week 1.

Richardson was competing with Isaiah Pead for the starting job, but every indication seemed to be pointing to Richardson getting the nod.

It will be interest to see what kind of split the Rams use between their two young backs. The Rams also have rookie Zac Stacy on their roster, but it seems more likely that they will give the other players a few games to prove themselves before considering Stacey.
