Andy Reid Expects To Have DeSean Jackson & Jeremy Maclin Available For Week 2

Eagles head coach Andy Reid mentioned that he expects to have Jeremy Maclin and DeSean Jackson available for this weekend’s game against the Ravens, via Reuben Frank.

“I think we’ll be OK there,” said Reid. “They’re both doing a lot better.”

Both players missed Thursday’s practice because of injuries, but it appears as though they’re not serious enough to keep them out of action on Sunday.

Eagles WR DeSean Jackson sat out of practice on Thursday. Jackson strained his hamstring during his workout Wednesday and was seen with a large wrap of ice around his left leg, per the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Eagles are already thin at receiver, with Jeremy Maclin suffering from a a hip pointer and Riley Cooper out with a broken collarbone. On Tuesday, the team signed WR Mardy Gilyard to add depth to receiving core.

There will be more information on Jackson’s status for Sunday’s game against the Ravens.
