Dolphins Getting Calls To Trade Down In First Round

According to Ian Rapoport, the Dolphins are fielding calls to trade down in the first round.

Tom Pelissero previously reported there was a cluster of options the Dolphins would be happy with taking at 13, including Clemson defensive linemen Clelin Ferrell or Christian Wilkins.

However, Pelissero says teams that have spoken with Miami have come away with the strong impression they want to trade down and collect more picks to help in a rebuild.

Pelissero says there’s legitimate interest by the Dolphins in drafting a quarterback, with Duke’s Daniel Jones and Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins the two Miami has done the most work on.

Others have identified Mississippi State DT Jeffery Simmons as a potential target in a Dolphins trade back.
