Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald writes that he expects the Dolphins to “at least make a call” to Steelers regarding the availability of WR Mike Wallace.
Steelers GM Kevin Colbert has emphatically stated that “Mike Wallace is not available for trade,” according to Jason La Canfora, but it would be hard to fault the Dolphins for at least checking in on whether or not he’s truly available.
Miami is reportedly considering signing Braylon Edwards, but Wallace would certainly be a huge upgrade an offense lacking a big-play receiver.
