Eagles CB Ronald Darby Could Miss Close To Month With ‘Pretty Significant’ Hamstring Injury

According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Eagles CB Ronald Darby is expected to miss a few games with a hamstring injury.

Mike Garofolo reports that Darby could end up missing “a month or so” with a “pretty significant” hamstring injury.

The Eagles are dealing with injuries at cornerback with Jalen Mills and Cre’Von LeBlanc sidelined.

Darby, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Bills out of Florida State back in 2015. The Eagles traded WR Jordan Matthews and a 2018 third-round pick to the Bills in return for Darby in 2017.

Darby played out the final year of his four-year, $4.569 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career before the Eagles brought him back on a one-year deal this offseason.

In 2019, Darby has appeared in three games for the Eagles and recorded 14 tackles, one interception and five pass defenses.
