ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Eagles have informed S Ed Reynolds that they are planning to release him before tomorrow’s deadline.
Reynolds, 23, was taken in the fifth round of the 2014 draft by the Eagles. However, he was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year, but was later added to their practice squad.
Philadelphia wound up signing him to a future/reserve contract in December of last year.

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Eagles have waived sixth-round DBย Randall Evans on Friday.
During his four years at Kansas State, Evans recorded 210 tackles, 10.5 tackles for a loss, two sacks, four interceptions, five forced fumbles, a recovery and 28 pass defenses.

Matt Lombardoย reports that the Eagles have released veteran G John Moffitt, as they work to trim their roster down to 53 players.
Moffitt, 28, was attempting to make a comeback after he retired from the NFL a few years ago.
He’s a former third-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2011. He spent just two years in Seattle before he was later traded to the Broncos in return forย DL Brian Sanford.
Seattle tried to trade him to the Browns, but that deal fell through after injury concerns were raised regarding this injured knee.
Moffitt last appeared in an NFL game during the 2013 season while playing for the Broncos.
