Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reports that the Falcons fear first-round C Chris Lindstrom suffered a fractured foot during Sunday’s game against the Vikings.
According to Glazer, Lindstrom is scheduled to undergo further tests on Monday and Atlanta is still holding out hope he’ll be okay.
Lindstrom, 22, was selected by the Falcons with the No. 14 overall pick. He agreed to a four-year, $14,708,738 rookie contract that includes $8,717,264 signing bonus.
Lindstrom’s deal includes a fifth-round option for the Falcons to pick up in the coming years.
During his college career at Boston College, Lindstrom was a four-year starter, a first-team All-ACC selection in 2018 and a second-team All-SEC recipient in 2017.
Weโll have more regarding Lindstrom as the news is available.
