The Atlanta Falcons officially placed RB Jeremy Langford on injured reserve Tuesday after he cleared waivers.
Langford, 26, was taken with the No. 106 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft by the Bears. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.139 million rookie contract when the Bears cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Langford had brief stints with the Ravens, Jets and Dolphins before signing on to the Falcons’ practice squad. Atlanta waived him with an injury designation on Monday.
In 2018, Langford appeared in one game and recorded nine rushing attempts for 25 yards (2.8 YPC) and no touchdowns.
