Former NFL QB Ryan Leaf Sentenced To 5 years In Prison

The Associated Press is reporting that former NFL QB Ryan Leaf has been sentenced to five years in prison for violating terms of his probation.

However, a Texas prosecutor tells the AP that Left won’t have to serve time in Texas because he has already done so in Montana.

Leaf plead guilty to felony burglary and criminal possession of a dangerous drug back in 2012 for situation that occurred in Montana.

According to Leaf’s attorney, Bill Kelly III, Leaf received a retroactive credit for the prison time he served in Montana and has been granted parole, but not released.
