According to Howard Balzer, former Texas TE Devonaire Clarington will enter the NFL’s supplemental draft.
A four-star recruit out of high school with schools like LSU and Alabama competing for his services, Clarington initially signed with Texas in 2015.
However, Clarington never suited up for the Longhorns after academic eligibility issues caused the school to withdraw its offer.
Clarington moved on to Blinn Junior College before ending up at Northland Community College in Minnesota for the 2018 season. He caught five passes for 62 yards and a touchdown in the state championship game last November.
Clarington is the third player to enter the 2019 supplemental draft, joining West Virginia WR Marcus Simms and Syracuse LB Shyheim Cullens.
