Report: Giants “Resisting All Overtures” For WR Hakeem Nicks

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday that the New York Giants are “resisting all overtures” for WR Hakeem Nicks.

Nicks has been a popular name trade option in the past few weeks, but with his value at a low point, it’s doubtful the Giants would be willing to sell low on him. New York will most likely listen to any team willing to make an offer for Nicks, but it will probably take a very solid draft pick or package of draft picks to convince them to part with Nicks.

There is still a chance that the Giants will be able to lock up Nicks long-term this offseason. Reports from Sunday morning indicated that there is a lot of interest in wide receivers, so we’ll have to see if interest increases on Monday.
