The Ne York Giants officially selectedย Western Michigan CB Sam Beal in the third round of this year’s Supplemental draft.

This means that the Giants will use their 2019 third-round pick on Beal.
Beal was considered by many draft evaluators to be the best Supplemental prospect since Josh Gordon was taken by the Browns back in 2012.
Here are Beal’s Pro Day results:
- Height: 6-0 7/8 Weight: 178 (187 in spring)
- 40-yard dash: 4.47/4.55
- Vertical Jump: 37
- Broad Jump: 10-6 ‘
- Short shuttle: 4.09
- 3-cone: 7.11
- Bench: DNP
Beal recorded 92 tackles, two tackles for a loss, two interceptions, 19 pass defenses and a forced fumble over the course of three seasons at Western Michigan and 32 games played.
