The New York Giants have signed FB/TE Garrett Dickerson to a contract on Monday and waived WR Keeon Johnson, DB Jeremiah McKinnon and CB Mike Jones, according to Dan Duggan.
Dickerson actually took part in the Giants’ rookie minicamp on a tryout a basis but wasn’t signed to a contract afterward.
Dickerson wound up going undrafted out of Northwestern a few months ago. He tried out for the Browns and Giants during their rookie minicamps.
During his four-year college career at Northwestern, Dickerson caught 88 passes for 896 yards receiving and nine touchdowns over the course of 36 games.
