Giants TE Evan Engram Getting Second Opinion On Foot Injury

According to Adam Schefter, the Giants are sending an MRI of TE Evan Engram‘s foot to Dr. Robert Anderson for a second opinion.

Engram did not practice Wednesday with what Giants HC Pat Shurmur called a “sore foot” that he picked up during Monday night’s loss to the Cowboys. Schefter says Engram’s status is uncertain.

Engram, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Giants back in 2017. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $10.71 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $1.43 and $1.92 million over the next two years of the agreement.

The Giants will have a fifth-year option to pick up in 2021.

In 2019, Engram has appeared in eight games for the Giants and caught 44 passes for 467 yards receiving and three touchdowns.

We’ll have more on Engram as the news is available.
