Adam Schefter reports that Giants TE Evan Engram sprained his MCL and will be considered week to week moving forward.
Overall, this is good news for Engram, who could have missed more time had he suffered other damage to his knee.
Engram, 24, is a former first-round pick of the Giants back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $10.71 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $952,207 and $1.43 million over the next two years of the agreement.
The Giants will have a fifth-year option to pick up in 2021.
In 2018, Engram has appeared in three games and caught 10 passes for 104 yards receiving and one touchdown.
