Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin thinks both linebacker James Harrison and safety Troy Polamalu will play Sunday against the Eagles, per Ed Bouchette.
The bye week couldn’t have come at a better time for the Steelers as Harrison and Polamalu’s return should be a big shot in the arm for a Steelers defense that ranks 21st in the league.
Backup linebackers Chris Carter and Jason Worilds most notably weren’t getting the job done as Harrison’s replacements. While taking over for Harrison, both linebackers combined for just one sack and one hurry in three games.
