Lions Re-Sign LB Anthony Pittman To Practice Squad, Release TE Cole Herdman

The Lions announced on Monday they have re-signed LB Anthony Pittman to the practice squad and released TE Cole Herdman. 

Here’s an updated look at Detroit’s practice squad:

Pittman, 22, signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Wayne State. He was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and was added to their practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed.

So far in 2019, Pittman has bounced on and off the Lions practice squad. 

During his college career, Pittman recorded 181 total tackles, 31.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks.
