Lions Re-Sign LB Nick Bellore

The Detroit Lions announced Wednesday that they’ve re-signed LB Nick Bellore to a contract.

Bellore, 28, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan. He played out the final year of a two-year $1.69 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

Unfortunately, Bellore’s 2016 season ended with him being placed on injured reserve with an elbow injury. The Lions cut him loose at the start of the 2017 season only to re-sign him a few days later.

In 2017, Bellore appeared in 13 games for the Lions and recorded 12 tackles.
