LSU QB Zach Mettenberger has a private workout scheduled with the Titans for Monday, according to ESPN.com.
- Mettenberger has reportedly meet with the Raiders, Patriots, Vikings, Jaguars and Lions as well.
The Cardinals have also come up as speculative landing spot for Mettenberger in previous weeks as well.
Tennessee has shown interest in other quarterback prospects including Fresno State’s Derek Carr and Georgia’s Aaron Murray.
He fits the mold of a tall, strong-armed quarterback, but is fairly adept at moving around the pocket.
Mettenberger unfortunately suffered an ACL and MCL tear in his knee last season, but there is at least some positive signs that he should be fine moving forward. LSU’s Pro Day is this Wednesday, which should be a well attended event.
