Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vickย told reporters that there’s a “100 percent chance” he’ll play in Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Vick still has swelling in his non-throwing hand but it has recovered to the point were he’s comfortable saying that he’s ready to go in week 4. The only question remaining is whether or not his injury will have an effect on his ability to grip the ball.
The Eagles offensive line will have to play their best game of the season and ensure that Vick isn’t taking as many shots as he has so far. With that being said, it’s also important that Vick doesn’t play scared and shy away from running with the ball as the 49ers are likely to allow Vick to show that he can beat them throwing ball.
