Cowboys

• TMZ Sports reports that the woman Cowboys LB Damien Wilson allegedly hit with his truck during the incident that led to him being arrested on July 4 did not suffer any injuries.
• Wilson was arrested on two counts of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with the first charge being for striking a woman with his truck and the other for pulling a rifle and pointing it at a guy.
• If convicted of both charges, Wilson could face up to 40 years in prison.

Eagles

Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com projects the team’s top-10 pass-catchers for the 2017 season with TE Zach Ertz coming out as the team’s No. 1 target. Here are Shorr-Parks’ full projections:

Seahawks

Seahawks DE Cliff Avril mentioned during an appearance on the “NFL No Huddle“ podcast that the ESPN report about the divide that exists in the team’s locker is just “fake news.”

“I think it’s all fake news,” Avril said Friday. “I think it’s all dead. It was a dead period so people needed something to talk about.

“At the same time, too, let’s be honest, it’s 90 guys in the locker room right now. There is no way that 90 guys are going to always get along, and that’s just what it is. I’m pretty sure there are people at your job right now that’s way less than 90 that don’t get along. That’s just part of it.

“Now as far as it being [Russell Wilson] and [Richard Sherman] or Russ and whoever, I don’t think that’s true. I’ve never had any issues with Russ. I don’t think anybody has any issues with Russ. We all want the best for Russ, and Russ wants the best for us. That is the only way we are going to succeed. I haven’t seen it. I don’t know what they are referring to. Maybe they know something that I don’t know.”
