NFL Notes: Draft, Chiefs, Jets, Redskins, & Saints

Draft

Chiefs

• Adam Teicher doesn’t see the Chiefs trading OLB Tamba Hali, as he does have some value to them and his contract would limit the number of teams interested in acquiring him.
• Teicher writes that the odds of Kansas City trading for troubled Browns WR Josh Gordon aren’t very good.
• Teicher also rules out free agent DT Ndamukong Suh as potential target for the Chiefs.
• Unless the Chiefs can reach an agreement with WR Dwayne Bowe regarding a pay cut, Teicher believes he could be a cap casualty.

Jets

• Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that Texans scouting director Mike Maccagnan is interviewing for Jets’ GM position on Monday.

Redskins

• Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Redskins have reached out to Scot McCloughan about being a top executive for them.

Saints

• Ramon Antonio Vargas confirms that Saints OLB Junior Galette is in the custody of the Kenner Police Department.
• KPD could not discuss charges or say if his arrest was related to Gerry V’s report that he was being questioned for an alleged domestic violence incident.
