NFL Notes: Eagles, Rams, Ravens, Redskins, & Seahawks

Eagles

• G Evan Mathis reportedly has an MCL sprain that is worse that Grade 1, but not season-ending. (Jeff McLane)
• OL Allen Barbre has a high-ankle sprain and will see a specialist in the coming days. (Jeff McLane)
• Allen Barbre could be out 4-6 weeks depending on the severity of the injury. (Adam Caplan)

Rams

• Mike Garafolo mentions that the Rams trading for a quarterback such as Mark Sanchez at this point in time “just doesn’t seem feasible.”
• QB Shaun Hill, who exited the game with what the Rams were calling a quad injury, deferred all questions about the move to HC Jeff Fisher. (Mike Garafolo)

Ravens

• Jamison Hensley opines that RB Justin Forsett has  “earned the right” to start Week 2’s game against the Steelers after his solid showing on Sunday.

Redskins

• NT Barry Cofield was seen limping and sporting a boot on his injured ankle at Redskins park on Monday. (ESPN 980)

Seahawks

• The Seahawks could consider re-signing veteran CB Terrell Thomas at some point in the near future. (Mike Garafolo)
