New Drug Policy

Bears

  • WR Brandon Marshall did not practice on Thursday, but is reportedly hoping toย test out his injured ankle on Friday. (Jeff Dickerson)
  • It’s possible that the Bears could make more roster moves before Sundayโ€™s game against the 49ers. ย (Brad Biggs)

Lions

  • HC Jim Caldwell mentioned thatย the “most likely scenario” regarding theย Lions’ open roster spot is to addย a player off their practice squad. (Dave Birkett)
  • Dave Birkettย points out that the Lions could consider promoting one of theirย two defensive backs —ย Mohammed Seisay and Nate Ness– on the practice squad.

Packers

  • HC Mike McCarthy announced that RB Eddie Lacy has been cleared to play against the Jets and added that Lacy “looked good in practice” on Thursday. (Tom Silverstein)
