The Jets will have plenty of rumors surrounding them this offseason given the number of big names that they’ll have to address. GM Mike Tannenbaum offered some incite regarding the teams plans regarding LaDainian Tomlinson.
“We do expect him back,” Tannenbaum, but “these things could change.”
In regards to Tomlinson’s second half decline Tannenbaum said that it was “a little bit of a concern,” but added that it’s just a part of the evaluation process.
There are both positive and negatives aspects in Tannenbaum’s comments which isn’t the best sign for Tomlinson’s chances of returning despite being under contract for next season. There will definitely be more on this subject as the offseason progresses.
